Extremoduro is a band that is synonymous with rock music. Its multi-decade spanning career started way back in 1989 with the release of its demo tape, Rock Transgresivo. Outside the boundaries of its city, the band was just a group of unknowns but this changed with the success of Rock Transgresivo. This later followed by a TV show performance and a third place victory in a popular contest which brought this band to the attention of many record labels and slowly a legacy of chart-topping albums started to take shape. One of the many milestones in Extremoduro's musical journey is Agíla, an album which catapulted the band into stardom. Material Defectuoso also deserves a mention as it was an album which did not budge from number one on the music charts for several weeks. With a huge discography and a gigantic fan base, it is no doubt that Extremoduro is one of the greatest rock bands in Spain.
