Blues rock guitarist Michael Lee Firkin hails from Nebraska. Known for his high-speed hybrid picking, he weaves country, blues, jazz, heavy metal, bluegrass and rock with a signature distorted tone. After touring in various cover bands, he found himself unsatisfied with play other people's songs. Finding his footing as a songwriter, Firkin finally released his eponymous debut LP in 1990 and has since continued to make a name for himself among other guitar aficionados.
