Jeff Beck

Guitarist Jeff Beck's sheer talent and knack for writing virtuosic arrangements has led him to be called the "guitarist's guitarist." Though he hasn't achieved as much mainstream acceptance as some of his contemporaries have, Beck is still known as one of the most talented guitar players of his generation. Getting his start in the 1960s with the rock group the Yardbirds, Beck then chose to pursue a solo career and has been able to dictate what style of music he wants to play, be it rock, jazz fusion, blues or, more recently, an electro-rock hybrid.
