Pennywise is a punk rock band from Hermosa Beach, California has been jamming hardcore melodies since 1988. The group has released a number of albums and continues to produce its 1990s grunge-inspired punk rock sound with political and moral backings. The group has been influenced by such bands as Sex Pistols, Generation X, Social Distortion and Dead Kennedys.
