Named after General Motors, who was an early sponsor, the Canadian junior hockey team, Oshawa Generals is part of the Ontario Hockey League. The team plays home games at the Tributes Community Center and sports red, blue and white uniform colors. Plenty of Oshawa Generals players have gone on to successful careers in the NHL, particularly Bobby Orr and Red Tilson, who are honored in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
