Richmond Kickers is professional soccer club based in Richmond, Virginia. The club was formed in 1993 and competes in the United Soccer League, which is the third tier of the American soccer pyramid. The club plays its home games at home City Stadium, where the club has played since 1995. The Kickers captured the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championship in 1995.
