Shirley Caesar

Shirley Ann Caesar gospel singer and Grammy Award-winning songwriter who is affectionately known as "First Lady of Gospel." Starting her professional career at the age of 12, she quickly built a reputation as one of the most powerful mezzo-soprano vocalists of her generations. Since releasing her debut LP First Lady, in 1977, she's managed to stay true to her gospel roots as the decades passed. She's since built a massive discography, which includes 1993's Stand Still, 2005's The Gospel Legends, and 2016's Fill This House.
