The Gathering

The Gathering is a Dutch band that blends together elements of progressive rock, shoegaze and goth to create an experimentally minded sonic amalgam. Founded in 1989, the group gigged around The Netherlands durning its formative years to hone its sound and refine its songwriting approach before releasing its debut album, Always..., in 1992. Though The Gathering disbanded in 2014, it reformed in 2018 and has since continued to tour and release new music, helping solidify its standing in the modern Dutch music scene.
