Juaquin Malphurs is a rapper based in Atlanta who makes music under the moniker Waka Flocka Flame. Born in Queens, NY before relocating to Georgia, he developed his signature southern hip hop sound surrounded by the underground hip hop scene of the Atlanta area and eventually released his debut single "O Let's Do It," in 2009. The track was a success and set the tone for his first album, Flockaveli, which pushed Waka Flocka Flame into the mainstream light. In addition to collaborations with artists such as Trey Songs and Gucci Mane, his sophomore album titled Triple F Life: Fans, Friends & Family, featured rapper Drake and was released in 2012.
