Church of Misery

Church of Misery is a heavy metal outfit from Tokyo that marries together early doom metal stylings with elements of psychedelic rock. The band established its distinctive, violent sound on its debut album Master of Brutality, in 2001. Church of Misery has continued to amass a following among international heavy metal audiences with a rigorous touring schedule, particularly throughout Europe, and each of its subsequent releases, such as 2013's Thy Kindom Scum.
