Fort Knox Five

Despite what its name may suggest, Fort Knox Five is a four-piece hip-hop outfit that emerged out of Washington D.C. in 2003. Combining hip-hop, funk and reggae into one electronic amalgam, the group earned massive exposure as the opening act for Gwen Stefani's North American Harajuku Lovers Tour in 2004. Fort Knox Five released its debut album Radio Free DC, in 2008 before dropping an extensive series of dance floor-friendly remixes the following year.
