Disco of Doom is the stage name for Tom Real and Ben Medcalf, an electronic music and production duo based in London that rose to prominence on the underground music scene as a result of their monthly on-demand show on the radio station Samurai FM. Since the release of its first official EP in 2008, appropriated labeled "EP1," Disco of Doom has had the opportunity to release three outstanding follow-up EPs of its work that have slowly edged the band out of obscurity and into the electronic music limelight. Disco of Doom's most recent EP "Invader" takes the duo's penchant for techno to darker, unexplored regions of the genre that is bound to be celebrated as one of the more innovative releases of the year.
