Henry Collins (aka Shitmat) is a Brighton-based breakcore artist who has established a bit of an irreverent reputation throughout the UK drum and bass community. His use of random, often humorous samples lets you know he's not taking himself or his craft too seriously--a sentiment that can often be lacking in a usually self-serious genre. His intense, driving style incorporates several rhythmic elements that include, but are certainly not limited to, glitchy IDM, jungle beats and grinding breaks. When he's not performing or recording, Collins runs Wrong Music, a Brighton record label that showcases local electronic talent.
