Helloween is a metal band that's able to make heavy songs with fast guitar shredding, powerful drumming and themes about darkness sound fairly upbeat. The band from Hamburg, Germany is known for pioneering the power metal genre and also for its ability to make songs about despair sound fairly joyous. Helloween formed in 1984 and has honed its sound with years and years of relentless touring.
