Writer is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, comprised of brothers Andy and James (Jayme) Ralph who pride themselves on their top notch songwriting and guitar playing abilities. Believing that melody comes first when crafting a good rock song, the musicians of Writer consistently hone their skill at creating a first class melody, using gritty guitar work and buzzing amps to fill in the spaces and push the melody where they want it to go. Despite the band's humble intentions for itself and its music, Writer may have a problem staying out of the spotlight with numerous blogs and music publications singing the duo's praises wherever it goes.
