Priding himself on the personal nature of his lyrics and storytelling qualities in his music, Craig Smith is a singer/songwriter based out of Ontario, Canada. Leaning toward alternative country, but with nods toward early rock and roll, Smith's music might be personal, but refrains from being sappy or sugary sweet. Since first beginning his music career in 2006, Smith has made fans out of many Canadian critics, topping alternative publications' year end "Best of" lists, and has also become active as a producer of other up-and-coming singer/songwriters.
