Somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades, Adam Buxton has become quite the presence in the UK over the past 15 years. Born and raised in London, Buxton attended college to study sculpture, but ended up writing and starring in a comedy series with Joe Cornish called The Adam and Joe Show, which later became a book and a radio program. Buxton continued down the path of comedy by embarking on a stand-up tour around the UK, then began nabbing fairly prominent roles in multiple films, including Hot Fuzz and Stardust. The comedian/actor has also been known to produce and direct, most notably a music video for Radiohead's single "Jigsaw Falling Into Place," but he still takes time to perform stand-up regularly.
