With contemplative lyrics and minimal instrumentation, it's only fitting that the Bologna, Italy-based band OfeliaDorme's name was inspired by the Rimbaud poem, "Ophelie." With lyrics almost exclusively in English, The band's alternative-daydream rock is led by the soft vocals of Francesca Bono, who sings over slow progressions of acoustic guitar and modest but playful percussion. OfeliaDorme's first EP, Sometimes it's better to wait, released in the summer of 2009, received positive reviews and international attention. In early 2011, the band dropped it's first full length album, All Harm Ends Here. The post-album tour brought the band to venues all around Italy, the UK, and Belgium, where they stirred audiences with their rainy day music.
