Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Natasha Kmeto was constantly surrounded by music. Reared by musician parents, Kmeto's childhood home was filled with the sounds of funk, Latin jazz, R&B and classic rock. Learning piano and guitar at a young age, by the time she turned 15 she joined her parent's cover band and started playing shows around Sacramento. Kmeto launched her solo career in 2012 with her debut LP, The Ache. With her solo endeavors, Kmeto blends a wide array of styles including various electronic genres, hip-hop and R&B into one cohesive sonic amalgam.
