Honky is a rockabilly-influenced rock n' roll band from Austin, Texas, that's known for embracing tendencies that some straight-thinking folk might consider lewd. Formed in 1996 by three individuals who take pride in their sleazy, amoral and debauched proclivities, the group built a solid name for itself with a unique style of music the group likes to refer to as "superboogie." Following in the footsteps of outlaw musicians like David Allan Coe, Reverend Horton Heat and Fu Manchu, Honky's brand of politically incorrect music may not be for everyone, but those who appreciate a unique and uncompromising approach to satirically appreciating white trash culture will undoubtedly appreciate Honky.
