Helen Arney is a singer/songwriter and comedian who combines her talents to create a wry and smart brand of comedy pop/rock. Arney received critical acclaim for her first comedy hour titled Songs for Modern Loving at the 2010 Edinburge Fringe festival and has since appeared on several television and radio spots to promote her music. Her songs such as "You and Me and Walt Disney," made from a satirical and scientific point of view on love and life, demonstrate her quirky sense of humor as well as her authentic personality. A self-proclaimed geek, Arney puts her physics degree to good use as the host of the London comedy night Festival of the Spoken Nerd, which features material about maths, science and music.
