Grave Babies is a garage rock/lo-fi pop band that got its start in Seattle's underground music scene in 2010. With reverberating synthpop sounds and rock and roll guitar riffs, Grave Babies earned the support of local music fans as well as nation-wide attention. The band released its first single, "Gouge Your Eyes Out," in 2010 with Danish label Skrot Up, and it began receiving media attention in Europe, particularly in the UK, where the band was featured in VICE Magazine as one of the year's up-and-coming bands. Grave Babies released its debut album DEATHFACE, a record that considers human tragedy and hopelessness through shimmery pop, in 2011.
