Essentially creating party reggae, Backbeat Soundsystem is a seven-piece collective that fuses elements of ska, funk, dub and traditional reggae into upbeat dance stylings. Based out of Cornwall, England, the group belongs to the UK's slowly--but steadily--growing reggae scene. Including both live instrumentals and synth/electronic boards, and boasting a tremendous live energy, Backbeat Soundsystem easily keeps the audience's interest and has thus been a favorite at festivals throughout the UK and Europe since first landing on the scene.
