So many bands pride themselves on how pretentious they can be nowadays that it's almost impossible to track down a band that's just willing to drop the facade and create music that's true to the musician's hearts - regardless of how pompous it sounds. The English ska-tinged rock band Mouthwash is definitely one of these rare bands that's capable of producing music that's not trying to kowtow to any fashionable scene or faddish cultural movement. The group's reggae influence music is not snooty at all and the band's sound is extremely approachable and worthy of a listen if you can put your guard down and try to enjoy music that dude with skinny jeans, thick sunglasses, mess hair and a leather jacket wont think is "cool."
