Formed in 1991 Labyrinth is a power metal band that emerged out of Massa, Italy. With its 1995 debut album No Limits, the band extended its audience beyond Europe and into countries such as Japan, where the label Teichiku Records offered to release the album. The band eventually singed with Metal Blad Records and released its first album with a major label, Return to Heaven Denied, in 1998. Labyrinth embarked on its first tour in 2001, when it toured Italy as a headliner and then Europe as the supporting act for Helloween. Despite frequent lineup changes the band strengthened its following with every record and pleased its early fans with its 2010 album Return to Heaven Denied Pt. II: A Midnight Autumn's Dream, a sequel to the band's 1998 acclaimed album.
