Coming from Brooklyn, NY the indie rock band The Essex Green is composed of members Jeff Baron, Sasha Bell and Chris Ziter. Their sound is influenced by the pop and folk music in the 1960s and 1970s. The band was created from the remnants of a Vermont based band in 1997. It began its musical journey by playing shows in and around New York. Some of their popular albums are Everything Is Green, The Long Goodbye, Cannibal Sea, etc.
