Considered to be one of the most successful rock/hard rock groups of all time to grace the Turkish music scene, Kurban is a band formed in 1995 and by 1999 they were the opening act for Metallica in Ali Sami Yen stadium in Istanbul. After that they were the opening act for Megadeth in ROCKISTANBUL. Following a split in 2005, on December 30th, 2006 it was announced on the official Kurban web site that the band was back together.
