Şebnem Ferah

Initially beginning her career as front woman of the all-girl Turkish hard rock band Volvox, which also featured Özlem Tekin, another Turkish musician that would go on to receive fame, Şebnem Ferah began her solo career in 1994. Since then, she has found success singing in a primarily gothic hard rock style. She is also noted for working collaboratively with many other prominent artists, including Turkish pop star Sezen Aksu and Finnish cello-rock band Apocalyptica.
