Emerging out of the Midwest indie folk haven of Eau Claire, WI The Daredevil Christopher Wright is three-piece indie pop group made up of brothers Jon and Jason Sunde, who play guitar and bass respectively and share vocals with percussionist Jesse Edgington. After independently releasing its self-titled debut EP in 2005 as well as its follow-up EP The East Coast in 2008, The Daredevil Christopher Wright released its 2009 debut album, In Deference to a Broken Back. The band recruited the indie folk master Bon Iver to produce nine of the album's eleven tracks, resulting in a record with understated instrumentation and punchy, stand-out vocals. The band's sophomore effort The Nature of Things, was released in 2012.
