We Are The Ocean

Post hardcore act We Are The Ocean mixes the heavy riffs and blazing guitars of hardcore with the highly produced emotional strappings of pop ballads. They mix screamed vocals with clean harmonies to create that signature sound that other bands like Thrice have brought to the public sphere. Since forming in 2007, We Are The Ocean has been super busy, promoting their albums with lots of touring with big name bands like the aforementioned Thrice, Funeral For A Friend, and You and Me At Six. The band's album Cutting our Teeth was released in early 2010 on Shock Records to moderate acclaim.
