Lower Than Atlantis (also known as LTA for short) is a melodic hardcore act from Watford, United Kingdom, considered by many to be one of the more articulate voices of the increasingly angry and disillusioned Generation Y. Many have applauded the band's transition from a stagnant hardcore act into the surprisingly listenable and socially conscious band Lower Than Atlantis is today. Highlighting the particularly devastating effects the current recession has had on Britain's current generation of 20 somethings, LTA's recent album Far Q has both critics and fans proclaiming that the band fluently speaks the language of a generation that many feel is on the brink of a collective nervous breakdown.
