Dan the Automator

Japanese-American hip-hop producer Dan M. Nakamura, or as he more commonly known as, Dan the Automator, has worked with a venerable list of some of hip-hop's best and brightest emcees. This list includes Del the Funky Homosapien, Mos Def, Lupe Fiaso, E-40, and a host of others. But Nakamura's production work with Damon Albarn on the Gorillaz's self-titled first album that stands out as Nakamura's biggest commercial success. More recently, Nakamura produced some tracks that appear on the score of the Scott PIlgrim movie.
