Hieroglyphics

Oakland, California-based hip-hop collective Hieroglyphics is one of the major underground hip-hop collectives to emerge out California during the late-90s. Hieroglyphics is eight members deep, half of them members of the seminal Souls of Mischief crew. Some of the members have gone on to have successful solo careers, particularly Del The Funky Homosapien and Casual. The group has two major studio releases, as well as a number of compilations. 3rd Eye Vision is considered the group's classic record, with Full Circle a close second.
