Bestial Mouths is a Los Angeles-based band that specializes in creating a unique brand of goth-tinged noise rock. The group formed based on its members' shared admiration for several of the darker sub-genres of the 1970s and 1980s, including oft-underground styles such as industrial and synthpunk. Building a small but devoted following with the self-release of several singles, Bestial Mouths has slowly but surely started to emerge from Southern California with the recent renaissance of the band's influences popping up in everything from indie rock to dance pop. Its hard-edged synthesizer-driven sound won it a slot at South By Southwest in Austin, TX in 2012.
