Savages

Savages is an all female post-punk band from London that was founded in 2011. Named after the uncivilized mindset the characters in the iconic book Lord of the Flies find themselves in, Savages makes an atmospherically aggressive style of music that's perfectly suited for the multifaceted English music scene. Taking inspiration from bands like Joy Division as well as Siouxsie and the Banshees, Savages is able to interject elements of gothic rock into its music to create an introspective and somewhat cathartic sound.
