Despite forming in 2005, Swedish female garage rock group The Bombettes had some difficulty maintaining its health, which resulted in a temporary resolution of the band. After a few years of hibernating, however, The Bombettes decided to resurface in 2009, releasing a number of singles and playing a handful of gigs around Europe. The time away seems to have worked to the band's advantage, because like a fine wine, The Bombettes has matured. And with more touring and studio releases, the group will no doubt grow to become one of the more successful female rock acts of its generation.
