Juan Cirerol

Juan Cirerol is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Mexicali, Baja California. A student of classical guitar, Cirerol played in a series of different punk and screamo bands as a drummer but eventually combined traditional norteña and cumbia music with country and mexican folk to create his own guitar-powered sound. He released his album Ofrenda al Mictlán, in 2010 with the Mexican indie label Vale Vergas Discos, and followed up the album with his 2011 release, Haciendo Leña.
