Donald Pullen is a hip-hop artist known as Rockie Fresh who emerged out of Chicago with his debut mixtape Rockie's Modern Life, in 2009. His music earned him a slot at Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey where he met Josh Madden, brother of Joel and Benji Maddeen of Good Charlotte. After meeting the members of Good Charlotte, who introduced his music to Fall Out Boy's lead singer Patrick Stump, his alternative rock influences grew until he developed his own brand of hip-hop music. Rockie Fresh released his fifth mixtape, Electric Highway in 2012.
