Chefdenker is the name of a quite extraordinary punk band from Cologne, Germany. The band merged from most members of the former punk band Knochenfabrik (Engl.: bone factory) after that band split up in 1998. In their music Chefdenker are mixing punk rock and heavy metal elements (especially in the guitar solos) with the charismatic voice of the lead singer Klaus Lüer and his funny and ironic lyrics. If you ever see Chefdenker in a live show, there is a great chance you will see all of the band members completely naked. Most famous is the band for the song "Filmriss" (Engl.: Blackout) that goes back to the days of the band Kochenfabrik, is a real hymn in the German punk rock scene and kind of haunts the band since their first day.
