Anthony Joseph & The Spasm Band is a seven-piece outfit from London that combines rock, jazz and spoken word poetry with the rhythmic beats of the Caribbean. Led by Trinidadian poet and author Anthony Joseph, the band released its debut album Leggo de Lion, with Kindred Spirits in 2007, and subsequently spread its fusion music through Europe on an extensive tour. Anthony Joseph & The Spasm Band continues to release new material, including 2001's Rubber Orchestra.
