The Real McKenzies

The Real McKenzies is Vancouver-based Celtic punk band that was formed in 1992. Deeply rooted in its Scottish heritiage, the Real McKenzies is known using bagpipes in all of it recordings starting with its 1995 self-tited debut, and for performing traditional Scottish songs with punk rock sensibilities. The six piece band has shared the stage with other prominent Celtic punk and punk rock bands including Flogging Molly, Rancid and Misfits. The Real McKenzies released its ninth studio album, Westwinds, in 2012.
