Even though the Gypsy people of the Baltic region have been making music since the inception of physical instruments, there is a severe depletion of the cultural genre in the modern music marketplace. Lucky there is Boban i Marko Markovic Orkestar to fulfill the world's need for all things that relate to the glorious and infectious style of true gypsy music. The group formed sometime in the 1980s in the southern Serbia region and even though the collective has gone through a number of different lineup changes, it continues to impress audiences with its horn-heavy Slavic tunes.
