Hosted by America's "Number One Personal Seller of Tupperware," Dixie's Tupperware Party is an Off-Broadway production that offers audiences a hybrid of sketch comedy, a cabaret and a good old fashioned tupperware party. After Dixie Longate left Mobile, AL for Los Angeles with her trailer and three children, she started selling tupperware in 2001 to make ends meat. She ended up becoming one of the top sellers in the nation by hosting alcohol-infused tupperware parties that became so notorious they caught the attention of New York theater producers. Nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance, Dixie's Tupperware Party debuted Off-Broadway in 2007 and has since been on several national and international tours since 2008.
