I Killed the Prom Queen is a metalcore band that emerged out of Australia in 2000. The group earned local acclaim around Adelaide with its raucous live performances before releasing its debut studio LP, When Goodbye Means Forever... in 2003. After one more album, 2006's Music for the Recently Deceased, the group split up until 2011, when it reunited for the Destroy Music Tour.
