It might come as a bit of a shock to a good deal of American music aficionados, but there is still a large percentage of music listeners - especially in Central and Eastern Europe - who adore the bands that were birthed from the late 1990s pop explosion. While many of the American acts like Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, 98 Degrees, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, et al. have gone down in the minds of American music connoisseurs as some of the more deplorable to have ever been created at the fingertips of a human entity, some folks in Europe consider music by these groups to be conceptually great sonic discharge. Holding onto these pop acts as idol like figures, it comes as no big surprise that four musicians from Germany created a band in 2004 that sounds extremely similar to these erst popular music acts. The band, dubbed Stanfour, is fairly popular in its home country and it makes a style of pop friendly rock music that sounds akin to the late 1990s pop surge.
