Pittsburgh-based band Dazzletine is an indie rock outfit that was formed out of the solo project of mastermind Dan Koshute in 2010. Koshute released two self-produced records before his solo endeavor evolved into Dazzletine, and he began writing and producing the project's 2012 debut album Heart, Mind, Bodies while simultaneously forming his supporting band. After emerging as a five-piece group, Dazzletine began exposing audiences to its glam rock-inspired music with live performances that featured its members dressed in colorful androgynous clothing complete with stage make-up and playful showmanship. The band creates anthemic music with cascading walls of sound that is an invigorating change of pace from the indie rock/pop sound of the 2000s.
