Vdelli

Self-taught guitarist Michael Vdelli picked up his father's acoustic guitar at age 11. Impressed, his father suggested that they begin a band and the two of them called their new project Billy and the Kid. Based out of Perth, Australia, the duo became the resident band for a local resort's famous Wednesday Blues Night. During one of these nights, Michael met his father's friend Ric Whittle and a few years down the road, the two formed Vdelli, a blues-rock outfit. While there has been a rotating cast of other musicians in and out of the band, Whittle and Vdelli have remained at the band's core and have found success in their native country.
