Inspired by the pop of the 1970s and 1980s, Sylver Tongue is the synthpop project of London-based singer/songwriter Charlotte Hatherley. Although she usually chooses her guitar as her music maker of choice, Hatherley relies primarily on a keyboard to create music as Sylver Tongue, a monicker she adopted in 2012. With the help of producer James Rutledge, she released her 2012 debut single "Hook You Up," a dizzying display of synthesized pop music.
