Advance Base

Advance Base is the solo project of California-based musician Owen Ashworth. Under this sobriquet, he channels electronic rock into waltzes and ballads. Through his songs, Advance Base talks about things like his estranged family, holding onto grudges and dealing with loss. His debut album, A Shut-In's Prayer, was touted by many as one of the best albums of 2012.
