The High Wire

After only officially being a band for a few weeks in December of 2008, The High Wire was noticed by Chris Martin of Coldplay, who asked the band to open for his arena shows in the same month. Thrown into the spotlight, the UK trio managed to churn out enough swirling shoegaze songs to impress an arena audience, garnering quite a bit of attention. Since then the band has continued to refine its dreamy, reverb-laden pop that is a complete throwback to the early 90s and has released several EPs to much acclaim.
